Busy Bus
Transformation of OLD unused BUSES to Relocatable and usable homes for Homeless people in NSW.
A simple problem that doesn’t have a simple fix unfortunately, Homelessness! The increasing community of homeless people can be seen on Sydney busy Street corners and park benches, or anywhere else that they can find. It is an alarming fact which most of us simply try to look the other way or pretend it does not exist.
Mr Blake Richards, ceo and co-founder of My Best Life Australia, has one vision and a very strong advocate to the point, ” Homelessness does not need to exist in 2020″. The vision to transform the old and unused buses from the private and Government sector, has been a dream for Mr Richards for sometime and in 2019 is has become a very big step forward in reaching the goal, Converting the buses in to USABLE and relocatable homes for the homeless. The bus will be set up as a simple home with bed, toilet and shower, small kitchenette and lounge room. The buses will also be design to be used in Emergency and crises situations, where they can be used by the safety home. In the case of Domestic Violence where the person needs to move out of the danger situation and needs accommodation. Recently in 2019 we witnessed the devastating bush fires around NSW and Australia. The buses can be used by the firefighters as a mobile home or the victims as accommodation.
